We had a wonderful day today! The Easter Bunny visited the girls last night and they were very excited with their new movie, earrings, and kites. We celebrate the Easter Bunny part of Easter on Saturday. The bunny comes Friday night. This leaves Sunday open for us to celebrate the real reason for this holiday, the resurrection of our Savior.
Today was a great day. My mom had planned a special day with the girls. We went to her home and decorated cupcakes and cookies and then went on an Easter egg hunt around Grandma Kathy's yard! We topped the afternoon off when Grandma Kathy showed the girls the Easter dresses she bought them. Thanks for a fun day. Now, enough commentary, onto the oodles of pictures! We love Easter and spring! It's been a great day.
~Of course I had to include one of Ashlyn, my niece. She is 5 months old and still the cutest baby around! (Bad Auntie Shamae...don't sneak her frosting!)
~Morgan wiping frosting on daddy's nose.
~Morgan just fed herself frosting...no wonder her tummy hurt later on. She has been BOUNCING off the walls ever since!
~I was at the store with my mom but Loren said Morgan would frost the cupcake and then lick the frosting off and then frost it again. Oh goodness!! Good thing Easter is only once a year!
~Syd rolling out some cookies.
~Tasting the yummy frosting. She was much more conservative with her frosting consumption.
~My mom and Marc with the Easter dresses they bought the girls.
~Finding those eggs.
~And the stuffed animals...what a cool easter egg/stuffed animal hunt!
~Ashlyn found the stuffed animal grandma hid for her.

What a great idea to celebrate the Easter bunny on saturday. We will have to do that next year! We frosted cookies the other day and Madalyn did the same thing as Morgan. Frosting frosting and more frosting. It was making me sick watching her! lol Your girls are going to look so pretty in their new dresses!
What a great idea to celebrate the easter bunny on Saturday! I am so going to do that next year!!! You are one smart mama....thanks! Looks like such a great time and I too just had to buy my girls some Easter Dresses.....they were calling out to me from the rack...and they were on sale....I couldn't not do it! :0
Awwww, such cute little girls!!!
That baby is darling. I could totally do what Morgan did with the frosting. yum!
Looks like so much fun. I will hopefully be posting our easter festivities today. We'll see. Your girls are adorable. Miss ya, and you are such wonderful friends.
What a fun Easter celebration! I keep meaning to do what you do, but then I would have to be prepared and organized like you. I was surprised and worried when my kids told me last week that Easter was this week. Chris and I went on a date last night and bought the last of the Easter Bunny stuff then. But maybe by next year I can get my act together! Thanks for your great example! And I hope Morgan calmed down without any hangover effects from her sugar high ; p
Looks like lots of fun!
Looks like lots of fun. Malorie's little girl is so cute...sorry if I spelled Mal wrong. You do the funnest things for your girls.
