Thankful Thursday

I am going to attempt to be original with this Thankful Thursday Post. We all know the general things we are grateful for...so lets think outside the box!

1--Hornet traps. Earlier this summer we had a problem with them in our backyard. Not so much anymore!

2--Sprinkler Systems. We don't have one. I want one. I'm jealous of people who do have them. Next spring we are purchasing one of those bad boys! Yay!

3--Summer BBQ's with friends!

4--Text messaging! Some people hate it. I, however, love it. Great way to ask quick questions when you don't have time for small talk!

5--Personalized emails. You know the kind that someone writes just to you...no mass emails...and you know that they were thinking of ya? I like those. Makes me feel all warm and special! :-)

6--TV's on the exercise equipment at the gym. It makes it easier to give a little more effort when you can focus on something else other than running or whatever exercise I'm doing that day.

I ended on an odd number...my fetish with keeping things even and symmetrical are definitely being bothered here but I'm hoping that some of you guys can even things out with the things you are thankful for!!

Well, I am thankful for a ton of things but one thing that I am thankful for is your postings on Diabetes. My nephew has been dealing with it for a little over 2 years now and just barely got a pump and now it seems like everything is out of wack. I was just talking to his parents the other day and remembered the drink that you said they don't have to take a shot for. He was so excited! So thank you for your posts!!

Okay so maybe I am missing something because I see that you ended on the number 6, and ummmmmm, even number, yes? Anyway.....

1. I am also thankful for sprinkler systems, this house we just moved into has one, and I am loving it! Sorry didn't mean to rub it in or anything.

2. DVR.... Man I LOVE that machine.. I've now been spoiled and am not sure how I lived before I had it.

3. Baby Wipes, I use them for everything. I am aware they are not environmentally friendly. So I apologize, and accept in advance any slack I have to take for my relationship with this great invention.

4. My newest find at Sally Beauty Supply, Silk Elements, Silken Child Leave in Detangler spray. It works better than any detangler we have ever tried and with how curly Sierra's hair is it gets knotted so easily. It has been a life saver.

ha ha ha Michelle--

Yes, technically speaking, six is an even number but the spot where I left off is awkward. It doesn't feel even to stop a list at #6. #5, yes. #10, yes. #3, sure. But #6...doesn't fly. :-)

You are so like me when it comes to numbers I am like that and people don't understand. I will tell people I don't like odd numbers but I am ok with increments of 5. It is weird. I was dead on having my kids on even days even though I would of really liked the 10 or the 20~ but 14 and 16 work. Anyhow things I am thankful for:
1) Books -- loving the one I am reading right now. Thanks! It is just so nice to escape somewhere everynow and then!
2)running--although I don't do it enough I love the way I feel during and after a good run
3) pepsi max -- if it weren't for that I probably wouldn't make it through my graveyards!
