A 3 year old's perspective

This morning Morgan was asking questions about when Jesus was crucified. This was how part of our conversation went:

"Mom why did the Roman soldiers put holes in Jesus' hands and feet?"

"Well Morgan they didn't know who he was. They were told to hurt him and so they did."

"That's so mean! I bet Santa didn't bring the Roman soldiers ANY presents for Christmas!"

Me, trying not to giggle, "I'm sure they didn't."

Awww the perspective of a 3 year old. :-)

(As a sidenote: This is my 300th post! What milestone! Just over 2 years going!)

The things these sweet kids think of. I LOVED Morgan's comment about no Christmas Presents.

How insightful! :) I love your new family pics by the way. And yes, there is lots of room for the Lyons to come visit at our new house.....(although we may be lacking furniture...but a blow up mattress would work right??)
