The Unveiling!

Well this is the project I've been working on for all the d-mammas out there. Thanks for those who sent me pictures. Even though this doesn't encompass all the sweet kids who live everyday w/ Type 1 Diabetes...it does get the message out about why support is so important and that's why so many of us blog about it. We have found camaraderie. And people who speak the same language--Type 1 Diabetes. It's a neat community and I'm thankful to be part of it.

Take care guys! Enjoy! (If you are having trouble viewing it, email me and I can send you the link. Or just click HERE.) **I've had several people ask so I'll just answer here...share the video however you want. It's YOUR video too. :-)

This is so beautiful! I'm crying, so I can't quite think of all the things I want to say, but what I really noticed was the faces. These kids - our kids - look so strong and determined and healthy and happy. Thank you for putting this together.

Oh, Shamae, thank you so much for making this wonderful, poignant video and for including Jack. You did a great job! It brought me to tears too. I showed it to the kids, who want to watch it over and over again, asking me every time, "Who's that? Who's that?" They want to know the names of all of the kids. Jack is blown away that they all have T1D, and I can tell he feels proud to be a part of the video. Again, thank you!!!!!

Great job! Just the other night I asked my son if he was all ready for bed. He said he was, but when I asked if he had gotten his nighttime shot his face fell. For a couple sweet minutes, he forgot he was diabetic. I HATED that I had to remind him.

thank you so much for making this and for sharing. Such beautiful kids with amazing parents. They may not be able to show it yet, but those children appreciate you. Even at my age, it is hard to watch what my parents saw with me growing up. wow.

Another stalker here...the video is so powerful and touching! It's hard not to cry when you see your life flash across the screen and to know there are so many kids out there that battle this beast everyday. Thanks for sharing. I have two T 1's, Kolt (12) and Kwyn (6). Your blog is awesome. I wish I had more time to get out and meet some other moms that deal with this everyday so I guess reading blogs is as close as I've come for now. Thanks! Kim
