Wow has it really been since May?

I can't believe how the days just pass by in a blur.  I guess it's true what "they" say, when you reach a certain age time starts disappearing faster and faster. We get older and older; however, one of my favorite quotes says, never regret growing older, tis a privilege denied to many..." But  this post isn't about growing older, although I did turn 28 last week and I can't believe it's time for my 10 year class reunion, this post is about Sydney and her perseverance to go to Congress and tell them what her life is like living with a chronic disease, one that has to be carefully monitored hour after hour after hour. Sydney is taking her battle to D.C. to help more people understand Type 1 Diabetes and why a cure needs to be found. She knows the devastating things that can happen as a result of T1D and I'm so proud of her strength and desire to not be a victim and to embrace advocacy for a great cause. You can watch one of her media debuts as she talks about her life with T1D and what she wants Congress to hear...
