House Hunting = FRUSTRATION

Some days I wonder if this process will ever end. In the last 3 months or so we have looked at OVER 50 or 60 houses. It is such a tedious process...eventually the next house begins to look like the last house. Loren says I am being too picky but, in my defense, a home is something you have to live with for a long long time and I don't want to regret that decision. Don't you agree? About 3 weeks ago we found a home we really liked. We put an offer on it at the same time some other people put down an offer. The sellers took the other offer and we were back in square 1. Frustration!

Tomorrow we will be out pounding the pavement with our realtor again. (I will do a little PR work for him...his name is Brad Bassett and he is an amazing realtor! I would recommend him to anyone buying a home in S.E. Idaho) :D We will be looking at one home for the 4th time. Hopefully I will be making a blog entry soon about "our new home". Keeping fingers crossed!!

Finding a home isn't going to be all smiles though. I will have a hard time leaving our little community here at our current house. We have developed some great relationships and have the best neighbors! I don't think we could have handpicked better neighbors/friends. They will be very hard to leave. Fortunatly with blogging and email and myspace....it will be much easier to keep in touch!

For now, we will just enjoy the time we have left with them and try to not let the drawn out process of looking for a home interfere with the good times we have left here! Those of you who have bought homes before or have any tips...let me know! Till next time....

I am excited for you guys to finally find a house. I will definitely miss you being just across the street but since we will be moving in the next year, I won't try and guilt trip you in to staying in RC.

BTW - I think it is frustration. but maybe if you are reallllly frustrated, it's spelled frusteration.

Or maybe it is a sign to stop being ungrateful and appreciate what you have.
