This past weekend we spent another Saturday helping my dad move the cattle that we had branded the week before. We had to move them to another pasture by saddling up one of the horses and pushing the cattle to the next field about 7 or 8 miles away. My hubby and the girls rode a 4-wheeler because that was easier than packing the kids on horseback while trying to keep the cattle on the correct course. I would take turns letting the girls ride with me on Snowy (the horse). After moving the cattle we helped fix some fence with my dad...ahhh the adventures of farm life. Throughout the day my girls were very helpful! They did some good chores and are even closer to earning their swingset! Anyway here are some pics.

~Morgan riding with mommy. The girls had SO much fun riding. They were very cute.
These next pictures are one of the chores the girls have been working on to help earn their swingset. They've done the bottom row and now have to finish the top row. I can't wait to post pics of them playing on their new toy after working so hard for it!

That's so COOL!!!! Geez, I miss trees and grass...
BTW, I LOVE the way your blog roll lists kiddos names -- I might have to copy that :)
:) Great pictures!!!! Man I wish my boys did chores!!!! Even if we try to get them to do it so that he can something that they want in return, it still doesn't work! :) LOL Glad you had a good day.
Looks like a fun time! Im envious hehe. Jer is allergic to horses so no family horse riding for us. Hopefully I'll find someone in the my ward who will let me come ride theirs hehe.
Looks like you had a great time moving the cows! I am glad to see that you & Loren are teaching the girls to earn the things that they get, rather than just being given everything. You guys sounds like great parents!
I so miss getting to do that! Brought back a ton of memories looking at this post and oh how I wish i could share that with my kids! Nothing better than moving cattle and riding horses!!!!
