You May Have Noticed

The video at the top of my blog. I made a video about Sydney for youtube a couple of months ago. It goes more into detail about Sydney with more pictures. It was fun to make and has been well received. I was encouraged to make another video that was about 2 1/2 minutes in length to distribute to local radio and news stations during our fundraising this year as we prepare for The Walk on September 12. We are still looking to grow our walk team and raise money. We would love anyone, near or far, to be a hero and help find a cure. You can click the hyperlink above or on the right side of the page to join our team.

Finding a cure for diabetes is neat because, not only will it cure Type 1 diabetes, but the research involved will also have made huge leaps and bounds in curing other diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's and who knows what else. Your contribution would really have a ripple effect on some of these devastating diseases.

Take a minute to watch this new video above. If you haven't yet, you can watch Syd's other youtube video. It is about 4 1/2 minutes in length. Thanks again guys! There are so many kids and adults out there who live with this disease everyday. I have met so many in real life and online. They all have a special place in my heart. You can visit some of them by looking down the right side of my page.

Shamae,
I have not watched the video until now..cause I knew this would happen..I bawled my eyes out. I live with this illness everyday and go through what you go through with finger pricks and needle pokes for Addison but seeing Syd and the hospital pictures and the supplies..it just breaks my heart all over again. Beautiful job. Syd makes a great spokeslady for finding a cure...
