Flashback Friday

I love Will Smith. The scene from I am Legend where he is doing pull ups without a shirt? Can I say YUMMY? My husband saw the movie before I did and when he and I watched it together he said, "Ok honey make sure you watch close, you are going to like what's coming up." And like I did!

So where did Will get his start? That brings me to my Flashback Friday clip of the week. Were it not for The Fresh Prince, I may have never had the opportunity to stare googly eyed at one of the most beautiful creatures ever put on the earth. I will admit this show wasn't my favorite growing up but I do enjoy the occasional indulgence into the life of the Banks Family on Nick at Nite.

How could I not? It gave Will Smith the opportunity to go from

THIS

To THIS Some might call that going from zero to hero. It makes me say, "Transformation is a beautiful thing."

This is the extended intro clip. Enjoy.

Will Smith is AWESOME!!! One of my favorite hunks now, though, has got to be Hugh Jackman. Oh my gosh, can you say melting? mmm-mmm-mmm. I think I'm going to start putting some of these ideas on my blog (if you don't mind). They're an awful lot of fun.

Once again, you are a couple of years behind. Will Smith got his start not as the tv's Fresh Prince, but on the radio as a rapping duo known as DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. Their most popular song as "Parents just don't understand." Look it up. It's funny. DJ Jazzy Jeff appeared on the show as "Jazz."

ha ha! Thanks Mike. I guess I was too young to remember that one. (wink wink) Next week I promise to do my research better. :D

He's sure turned into something, hasn't he? Kind of sorry to say I'm old enough to remember about Jazz and the parents rap, too. I think when he was a teenager, Mike could actually do that whole Fresh Prince intro (but, it might have been Dave). Ask next time you see him...

I love this show!! Is it bad that I can sing the whole song? I always am singing it around the house, I know I am such a dork!

Yep I'm right there along with the other "dorks" that knew all the words! LOL! And I'm totally with you on the "yummy". LOL!
