Weekend Fun!

Well we had a great weekend! On Saturday we went to a yummy local restaurant called Rupes. Just as a side note, they do have the best rootbeer ice cream! My sister Krystal was down visiting and we wanted to spend a little time with our amazing and wonderful Grandma Ruth. After a yummy meal we went and picked up our friends Jessie and Kelly and their little girl Kamryn. We went to dinner at Olive Garden and then to a baseball game--which was loads of fun!! Jessie is due to have baby #2 (Jordynn--not sure how they are going to spell it but that is how I like it :-) in a month. So we are trying to squeeze in as much fun as we can before adding another little girl to the crowd. I don't have much commentary today so just enjoy the pics!

~Sydney, Morgan, and Kamryn at the game. They, surprisingly, behaved much better than I had anticipated.
~This is Jessie and I. We caught a stray ball. I dove head first down three benches, landing on top of a big greasy guy with a mullet and a gray holey tank top bearing the slogan, "I'm ugly on the inside too." I spilled his beer, which infuriated him, BUT I caught the ball! Of course the man's anger and drunkenness got the best of him. He started chasing me. I ran onto the field and had to fight my way around the bases, dodging the baseball players. The umpires joined in the chase because I was disrupting the game. Finally I snuck through a hole in the fence and ran away. I snuck back into the bleachers to pose for this shot before leaving quickly in hopes of avoiding the cops that were now on their way to find the unruly woman at the game.
** Now, in reality, that is not true. It was actually a foul ball that some little girl found and brought to us but the above story is much more exciting. :-)
~Umm so this is what my hair looks like curly. My sister Malory is a great little beautician and wanted to do my hair for church today. I took the risk and she curled it. I don't think I have curled my hair since prom or my wedding or something. I straighten it almost everyday but the curly thing was new to me. I did like how it turned out. Loren loved it. He is so cute and such a complimentary hubby. Always making me feel like the most special woman on earth. :-) Anyway, he asked Malory to take a picture of us...here is that pic. (Notice my hubby's facial hair. I LOVE it! So sexy!)

What an eventful baseball game--I thought things like that only happen in the movies! You will laugh about that for a very long time!

Rupe's !!!! I LOVE Rupe's and they do make the best Root Beer Ice Cream. Our family loved to go there as well and I miss that kind of fun food.

The story ROCKED and I think it is so darn funny. It is a keeper!!

Your hair looks amazing curly and you and Loren are just a cute couple. I was always impressed by your family and admired how much Loren helped and and what a great daddy he seemed to be when he was sitting in nursery with Morgan and we were in there with Aidan. You could always tell how much you guys loved each other and I thought it was awesome.

I've never even heard of Rupes! It must be a little North of here. You guys will have to slow down eventually and take a vacation from your vacations!

I love the story about how you caught the ball, isn't fiction always better than reality. Okay, not really but sometimes. . .
