--This song happens to be from the VERY FIRST cd I ever bought. It was 1998. I was 14 turning 15 and loved this song. Here is Jewel, "You Were Meant For Me."
Ummmm, now I feel old. :( I think my first cd (Ok it was a TAPE!) was Olivia Newton John, Let's get Physical...which was totally about the workout for me, I had NO idea at the time it was about S-E-X!
I liked Jewel too. I am guessing that it took new music an extra three years to get to Aberdeen though since this album came out when I was a sophomore in high school. Maybe the radio waves slow down over the reservoir or the CD delivery truck stops in American Falls...
Well Mike, while I don't disagree that we were behind the times in my tiny town, this is just the first cd I bought...not when it came out. It did come out in 1995...however I was only 12 so it didn't appeal to me then. :-)
Ah Jewel.... She knows how to pull those emotions out. This song played non stop in my cd player for awhile actually in 98 also. I was 18 my emotions were all over the place about my highschool boyfriend. We weren't together anymore, but at the time I would have probably given anything for the circumstances to be right.
I'm the proud mother to three very sweet little girls. Morgan is 6 and Sydney is 8. Our latest sweet, little Hadlee is 1 1/2. Sydney has had Type 1 Diabetes since Feb. 2008. Much of my blogging deals with my musings as I attempt to parent a child with Type 1. I also use my blog to share our laughs and tears and to commiserate with my friends and family. This profile wouldn't be complete unless I mentioned that I'm married to a wonderful, amazing, sensitive, good-looking man and I am so happy to share my life with him. We have been married for 9 years. He is my best friend and I can't imagine riding this journey with anyone else! If you happened to have stumbled on this blog and have any questions, feel free to ask. There are also some links further down my page that answers some of the most FAQ about Type 1 Diabetes.

I know. I know. But I just gotta tease you about something, right?
