Nope, nope nope! I even used to refuse to eat the crust when I was a kid. I've never had homemade bread so I don't know if I would eat the heels of that.
I hate to say it but when there are ends left in the bag that is when you know the bread is gone. I do sometimes use them in my cookie jar to keep my cookies soft though!
HECK YAH! You bed I eat those yummy ends :) Now that I'm making my own gluten free bread, sometimes I'll collect the ends because they make THE BEST croutons ;)
Nah...the ends are nothing to me. I know!!! It's such a waste.
I would say I probably would eat the heels of homemade bread...but I didn't eat the ends of my husbands bread he made at the bakery...and that was practically HOMEmade.
BUT...my favorite are the ends of pumpkin and zucchini bread!
I'm the proud mother to three very sweet little girls. Morgan is 6 and Sydney is 8. Our latest sweet, little Hadlee is 1 1/2. Sydney has had Type 1 Diabetes since Feb. 2008. Much of my blogging deals with my musings as I attempt to parent a child with Type 1. I also use my blog to share our laughs and tears and to commiserate with my friends and family. This profile wouldn't be complete unless I mentioned that I'm married to a wonderful, amazing, sensitive, good-looking man and I am so happy to share my life with him. We have been married for 9 years. He is my best friend and I can't imagine riding this journey with anyone else! If you happened to have stumbled on this blog and have any questions, feel free to ask. There are also some links further down my page that answers some of the most FAQ about Type 1 Diabetes.

I rather not eat them....its not too bad if the sandwich's other slice of the bread is an inside slice.
I'm the same way..for sure on homemade never on store bought.
yes both me and my hubby eat the ends of bread .
No way! I won't eat it but sometimes I put the heel on the inside of a PB&J and my girls never know the difference! :-)
I learned that trick working VBS with a bunch of hungry teenagers.
No way! I'd rather have no bread than the heels. It's my hubbys favorite part so I leave them for him.
Only on home made bread. :)

No heels for me. I like to break the bread in half and pull out all the soft stuff. Then I hand over the heels to Jonathan, He LOVES the heels.
