Feeding the Ducks

Well since my hubby had to spend a few days out of town this week, the girls and I decided to go spend an afternoon with my mom, brother and sister. We went to the river and walked around the green belt. The girls were cute--although they were afraid if the birds got too close to them. And since Loren is out of town, he is going to see these pics miss us even more :D But it works out cause we miss him too! Anyway since I am a picture-holic there are several to view. Enjoy!!

-My little brother (who is taller than me) feeding the geese.

-Going for a stroll. Morgan kept asking if she could go swimming in that water. Except for birds apparently Morgan isn't afraid of much!

--There were a whole gaggle of geese following us around!

My brother and sister and my girlies.

-My mom helping the girls feed the birds.

--Notice Sydney's apprehension when the bird got too close!

--Such friendly birds! (when they're not chasing us for bread)

***And hopefully spring will actually find its way here soon so we can quit wearing coats everywhere!! Sending out happy, warm weather vibes!!***

Shamae, I just found your blog through Carrie Ward's.... small world. First off, I love it, it's so cute!
Secondly, I wanted to let you know that I am really impressed at how well you guys are handling Sydney's diabetes. It is SO much information to process so quickly & from everything I've seen & read here you guys really seem to be on the ball. I think it's interesting that I stumbled across your blog right now, ever since talking to you on Sunday you & Sydney have been on my mind & I've been wondering how she's doing. Honestly, my hat's off to you. If you ever need any help, please don't hesitate to ask, I'm more than willing to share my meager medical knowledge if it'll help.

Ahh, little Morgan, you are going to have your hands full with her! At Syd doesn't go jumping off random things like my kiddos. And this is random but Tessa's birthday is on Sat. the 5th. She'll be three! crazy...... bye girlie! luvs...

Today is a little bit warmer... I'm going to cross my fingers that it continues! Did the girls take any ducks home with them?
