"The Office" Returns!

Tonight is the long awaited season premier of "The Office." This is clearly one of the funniest sitcoms of the 21st century! If you have yet to dive into the world of Jim, Pam, Dwight, Michael and the rest of the gang, go rent the first 4 seasons this weekend, pop lots of popcorn and get acquainted with the staff of Dunder Mifflin Paper. Once you are caught up you can look forward to lots more laughs as we enjoy season five!!

The only downside is that we are not watching "The Office" tonight. Instead we are TIVO'ing it and having our own little "The Office" Returns Party tomorrow night. We have some friends coming over. We will be enjoying chicken wings, 7 layer dip, potato chips and all sorts of delicate goodies while we laugh at the new season of "The Office!" (click here to watch full length videos at nbc.com)

**Just a little comment, if you have not been watching the show, don't try to jump into season 5, you will be lost. Take the weekend to have your own office party and then mark your calendar for Thursday evenings for the rest of the season.**

Hope it turns out as good this season as previous for you. I never got into the American version, but used to watch the British version and laugh my hiny off before we moved to Japan. I can't seem to find it on the BBCA anymore so I may have to go rent the past 4 American seasons and give it a go. I was nervous when it came out cause some American producers gave a shot at a few British shows and just flopped I didn't want to be as disappointed like I was with Coupling.

Well...I think the office is one of the wierdest shows ever!! Jayson has started recording it so I've only seen a couple...and I just think... "Really? This is what we're watching?" LOL But I have heard that we need to see it from the beginning so I think I'll take your advice and rent the first seasons!!

I did not realize that you guys were office fans (or my mind is just getting even more foggy the more pregnant I get) We would have loved to come to your party, bummer. We were planning on having a party of our own, but all of our office friends ended up being out of town. I guess they are not really die hards like we are.

Just a side note, a friend of mine is throwing a shower for me on the 15th so if you want to come email me your address, it would be really great to see you even in all my pregnant glory!
