I'm Thankful for....
1) A family that loves to do the "outdoorsy" things. I think I would lead a very boring life if I had married someone who didn't enjoy the outdoors at least as much as I do.
2) A hyper-organized hubby. He is so awesome to take trips with because he rarely ever forgets something we might need AND he is the best packer in the world. He can fit the MOST things in the smallest possible space. I love it!
3) Music. I am a FIRM believer that music can change your mood! If I am having a bad day I know playing upbeat, happy music will help keep me positive. If the kids are driving me bonkers, I put on good music and it really does work! Try it!!
4) Summertime. I love it. I love the warmth. I love the dry roads. I love playing in the water. I love fishing. I love camping! I love sipping lemonade on the deck. I love harvesting my garden. I love going for evening walks. I love everything associated with summertime!
5) Even though diabetes is really making me want to pull my hair out/scream/cry/sleep for a solid week, I am grateful it is a disease that I can work with. It could be worse. When I've had weeks like I've been having I have to remind myself of that often. It's hard right now but eventually it will get better, right? I'm thinking summertime is a rough time for Syd and her diabetes. I guess we just need more practice. :) Needless to say, I've been playing ALOT of music lately. ha ha ha
What are you thankful for this week?

I am thankful for a husband who loves his country so much that he is willing to sacrifice all he has to serve it. I'm also thankful for a husband who works so hard to support his family. I'm thankful for phone calls that say everything is ok. I'm just over all thankful for an amazing husband who loves me! I love him so much as well.
I'm thankful for my beautiful little girl who keeps me smiling and loves me no matter what. She is the best.
I'm thankful for my parents, and my siblings, as well as their children, who support me through the rough times when I don't have a husband who can be here to comfort me.
I'm also very thankful for good friends who also are there to support me when my husband isn't able to. I am currently very thankful for my friends in the military who know exactly what I'm going through right now and can talk to me and fully understand my struggles.
Those are the things I'm grateful for! Thanks for letting me post!

I agree. Diabetes is a challenge, but it's a challenge that we can do something about. I enjoy some challenges, like New York Times Sunday crossword puzzles, but the stakes are much higher with a challenge like diabetes. Now that's what I consider a real challenge.
I'm thankful for a friend like you, who is absolutely amazing, and doesn't even know it! Even if you do want to pull your hair out, no one would ever know it! I dedicate the song, "The Climb" by Miles Cyrus to you because you are always so upbeat about Diabetes and your struggles with it! It's about 'the climb' and you keep that in perspective! Love ya!
I'm thankful for blogging pals!
I'm thankful for my 5 boys God sent me in my life. They have made me so blissfully happy and I am so thankful to them for teaching me to relax, and enjoy the moment!!
This week I am especially thankful for:
Modern technology that allows me to have air conditioning.
Being in a relationship where I laugh with my husband. As a family we just laugh a lot.
I have to say it, I am thankful for how yummy artichokes are, and how yummy my dip turned out. MMMM!
Totally agree with you. Except for the summertime. I hate summer. I hate being hot!
